I provide versatile, sustainable, and healthy vocal training for the professional singing actor and aspiring singer that connects the singer to their most honest expression.

My teaching is based on functional training drawn from current vocal pedagogy and voice science, as well as the artistry of interpretation passed down to me by my wonderful teachers.

Many current and former students have performed on Broadway, Off-Broadway, National Tours, Internationally, in Regional Theaters, on Cruise Ships, as singer-song writers, and in concert and cabaret venues.

Lessons are currently taught in-person and virtually.

NOTE: When booking, please be aware that I hold a strict cancellation policy which is explained at the time of booking.

Heather has extraordinary acumen. She will listen to where your voice is and is prepared to fix anything! She is not locked into one approach. I have learned so much from her.

Regina O’Malley

Broadway and TV/Film

I am so grateful I found Heather on my path toward my singing training and education as a voice teacher in Argentina. Her point of view and pedagogic approach complements perfectly with the education I received back home, leading me to understand how to add different cultural singing and speaking habits into the technique, therefore expanding my horizons. Her ear is in every detail and her positivity is contagious. The only MUSTS I have every time I visit NY is to go to the theater and to book a class with Heather!

Heather is the patient rock I can always turn to when I am needing technique, wisdom and even peace of mind. She is kind and so very brilliant. She always has the answer and gives it with a smile.

Sami Griffith

Friends! the Musical (Off Broadway & 1st National Tour), Thunder Bay Theater’s Marvelous Wonderettes, Rob Rokicki’s Monster songs

Heather is the one to go to for technique! Right out of my 2 years with her at AMDA, I booked the national tour of Cinderella and her warm ups are what vocally got me through those 10 months. She has taught me to become more comfortable with both my belt and legit, and continues to teach me to just BREATHE. Singing is such a physical and mental game and her commitment to her students does not go unnoticed!

Nicole Zelka

National Tour-Cinderella & Regional Theatre

Heather taught me the fundamentals of a healthy singing technique, essential for all styles of singing. Through a careful study of the music and the text, she gave me the tools and exercises in which I was able to grow consistently in the art of vocal performance.

Every time I leave Heather’s class, I feel good about my work.
It feels as if it's Heather’s desire to pass on her knowledge and understanding to all of her students so that they can become an accomplished singer.

She is a teacher with good ears who is immediately able to identify your bad habits and give you practical tools to undo them. In addition, she is professional, patient, and talented. I am lucky she is my teacher for almost ten years.
